Perfect Moment Monday: Toddler with MY "Toys"

Meet A. She is my neighbor's granddaughter, and she likes to come over and play with the menagerie, and more specifically, with MY toys. She doesn't visit for long, but the other day she came over.

She always goes for the djembe first. And man does she love it. It's loud, it's obnoxious, and I always worry she will break it....but how can I not enjoy having a child around being a child? She gets away with too much :) And I love every second of it.

She also found my old, non-functional camera, and turned herself into a little photographer...oh, how grins was I? How adorable is she?

These were my perfect moments this week...and, for that matter, my dreams....

  1. She handles that camera well!

  2. How very sweet of her!

Thank You Kakunaa for the very thoughtful and lovely comments you left on my blog recently.

  3. How adorable.... I love the fact that she comes to see you and gives you a perfect moment .... by just banging on a big drum.... its the little things in life that make each day perfect...thanks for sharing

  4. Seems like you and A have a special bond. You are very cool to enable her to enjoy herself in these ways, and it's only right that you get a perfect moment or two out of it yourself.

  5. Awwww, she rocks!

  6. I love this post! She is so dang cute. I love that we have little angels in our lives to keep us going while we wait. :)

Thanks for the comment on my novella (ha!). You KNOW my fingers are firmly crossed for your one big shot. And who knows - it may not end up being your only shot. :)

  7. Such cute pictures! I love them. Sounds like you two had a good time together.

  8. She seems like fun company! how cute:)

  9. I loved your Perfect Moment!

Kids have a way of just being kids. Sometimes it's SO irresistible.
