Meet A. She is my neighbor's granddaughter, and she likes to come over and play with the menagerie, and more specifically, with MY toys. She doesn't visit for long, but the other day she came over.
She always goes for the djembe first. And man does she love it. It's loud, it's obnoxious, and I always worry she will break it....but how can I not enjoy having a child around being a child? She gets away with too much :) And I love every second of it.
She also found my old, non-functional camera, and turned herself into a little photographer...oh, how grins was I? How adorable is she?
These were my perfect moments this week...and, for that matter, my dreams....

ReplyDeleteSeems like you and A have a special bond. You are very cool to enable her to enjoy herself in these ways, and it's only right that you get a perfect moment or two out of it yourself.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, she rocks!
