Rested!

New med: Klon.opin - it worked!!!! I didn't participate at all in ICLW yesterday because I was downright delirious! But, I have some sleep under my belt today (FINALLY!!!) and I'm going to try and catch up. Lots of comments yesterday!

I woke up still really tired, but not unable to function and decided it was time for a treat for myself, and some change.....So off to the hair salon I went. I forgot how long my face is. LOL. Tell me what you think!

It was really difficult to get a good photo....one day when I totally do it up - contacts, makeup, the whole 9 yards - I will post another pic. DH loves it (he has shaved my head before, so not concerned with my hair). Pixie likes it. Frog is....a bit uncertain, but it's growing on him.

And I know you're all waiting to know, so here you go: BFN. But I'm neither surprised nor upset. I knew it wasn't possible. I did it more for Frog who was freaking out than for me. He cried. First in relief (because that could be a bit complicated), and then because he wants me to be Pg.
Still taking entries for the
Name My Uterus Contest, so hop on over there and enter!!!!

And now, I leave you with another song, lest you are feeling like crap about yourself today. Self-love is my theme for the day. Enjoy!

  1. I can't begin to describe how grateful I am to have your wonderful support.

I love the new hair! I wish I was brave enough to do something like that. I struggle with liking my hair all the time. I guess I could participate in a little self love right now.

Sorry to hear about the BFN......no matter how many you see you never become numb to the suckiness! But I have high hopes for you and the next part of your journey.....hope you see that BFP in the next few months. Afterall I always felt good things happen in the summertime!

  2. I'm so glad to hear you found a medication that helps with the sleep problem! Thankfully, insomnia is something I've never really had to deal with, but I can only imagine how frustrating it must be. And I like the cut! It looks no-fuss, and nice and cool for summer.

  5. I have a friend who is on that med for restless leg syndrome. It's really made a big difference in his quality of life, and he's managed to get down to the smallest dosage of it. I hope it continues to help you!

Yay for the cut and color! As you know, I'm big into the self-care thing this month too. And you look fabulous! No need for a glamour shot.

Sorry about the BFN. I know they're all hard-even if you were worried about being up the duff this month.
I'm glad you got some sleep and a treat. You've had a tough time so you deserve it. Thanks for your kind support-you rock!

  10. Well, your hair does look very short...did you get burgundy highlights too?

I had short hair all the time when I was in school...and I craved to have them longer. Now I manage to keep shoulder-length hair with some ease.

  14. Very cute haircut :) Thanks for commenting about our nutritionist :) We made shepard's pie last week and seriously at it for like, 4 days in a row. That's been the biggest challenge- learning to love our leftovers. I too, have been a bad ICLW'er - I'm catching up on all my comments today.
