So....through the miracle of FB we discovered that apparently Bro and Dreamer are not coming back, not anytime soon. According to Dreamer's page, they moved in with his sister. What? With most of their stuff still in our house? Ummm.....

Neighbors have been asking if they could move in - they would like to be able to live together with their son, and, the bonus? They can pay us some rent and half of utilities. Which, honestly, we could use.

Because the car? It needed $500 worth of work done yesterday and today (which we don't so much have), and couldn't even leave the shop yesterday. It still needs another $1000 in the next couple of months.

So, the trip to WI is officially on hold, and so is Christmas, LOL.

What does all this mean? We are in need of some budgeting help. We are going to be cleaning out the room Bro and Dreamer were living in so that Spazz and Punky can move in with son A. A. and Itstybitsy will be sharing the small room, so the nursery will be going into high gear here VERY shortly.

If you know of any budgeting ones, that really help, please, please let me know!

  1. I've heard good things about but we don't use it. We know where out money is going.... in my belly, nom nom nom.

  2. Oh God I am so not good at budgeting so I have no words of wisdom. Good luck!

  3. Good luck with all the changes...and with your budget.

  4. Try My husband uses it and loves it. It automatically pulls in your account info for credit cards, checking accounts, etc., and you can set goals. I am good at making budgets but terrible at following them. Best of luck!

  5. I haven't used any site specifically, but usually when I am getting stressed about money I make an excel spreadsheet with all our monthly expenses. It helps me to see it on paper, to see where we can cut and remember what we have to pay.
    Good Luck!

  6. Ugh, I'm sorry. I don't use a budgeting site, but I hear is good. Good luck! I'll be thinking of you.

  7. Like others have said - seems to be huge. Lots of good reviews!

  8. Good luck with the budgeting! We need to get more serious about ours now that we are hoping for a take home baby in May! I hope the neighbors moving in works out well, too!

  9. I agree with the others is free and very very interactive. It allows you to set budgets for all different categories
Sorry about the car troubles, I know how badly that sucks.

  10. Happy ICLW and congrats! I'm 20 weeks along and I feel you on the financial struggle. Just had to buy a new fridge yesterday. That hurt! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months! I have a diaper bag giveaway going on at my blog if you're interested!

  11. seems like other people agree about and i are planning on using it...she's already using it, but i need to get moving on it.

sorry to hear about no trip out here, but hopefully you will be able to save some money once you have paying housemates! :)

do you want me to go take a look at what is in your storage unit? at least i can see if i can take an inventory...not sure what else i can do, but it might help, unless you know what is in there...just let me know and how would i get in.

Whip me, beat me, take away my charge card. Or just leave a comment. Whichever works best for you :)
